  • Vertical Orientation Mounting Instructions:

    1. Drywall anchors are included but, if possible, mount to a stud to ensure strength.
    2. Start by drilling the screws in about 1/4", just so the tips of the screws are showing on the back side.
    3. If using the drywall anchors, drill the first anchor where you want the top hole of the guitar hanger to be.  Drive guitar hanger into that anchor with that top screw until snug.
    4. Make sure the hanger is straight up and down. Lightly press the bottom into the drywall. The tip of the predrilled screw should leave a dot. Place the second drywall anchor there and drive the anchor into the drywall.  Then drive the screw into that anchor until snug.
    5. Black Buttons: These are meant to be tight. If they don't press in by hand, simply get it started, cover button with a cloth, and lightly hit with a hammer or mallet.

    Horizontal Orientation Mounting Instructions

    1. Drywall anchors are included but, if possible, mount one side to a stud to ensure strength.
    2. Start by drilling the screws in about 1/4", just so the tips of the screws are showing on the back side.
    3. If using the drywall anchors, drill the first anchor into the drywall where you want the left hole of the guitar hanger to be.  Drive guitar hanger into that anchor with that left screw until snug.
    4. Measure from the cieling on the left side and then on the right, to make sure it is level - or - place a level on top
    5. When the hanger is level, lightly press the right side into the drywall. The tip of the predrilled screw should leave a dot. Place the second drywall anchor there and drive the anchor into the drywall.  Then drive the screw into that anchor until snug.
    6. Black Buttons: These are meant to be tight. If they don't press in by hand, simply get it started, cover button with a cloth, and lightly hit with a hammer or mallet.
